MARIANNE - BRINGING HOPE TO YOUNG PEOPLE
Hi, my name is Marianne and I’m the school chaplain at Campbell Town District High. Born and raised in Campbell Town, I have previously worked in hospitality and aged and disability care, before taking on the role of school chaplain in 2017.
As part of my role at Campbell Town District High, my work includes helping with Breakfast Club, meeting with teachers, gardening, cooking and visits to kindergarten. I also spend recess and lunch in the playground.
Not every child has the same opportunities as others, so I hope to support every child into believing they can can achieve whatever they strive to be. The aim of SU is to help develop holistically and as a chaplain, I feel thankful to show young people at the school the meaning of empathy, inclusiveness, resilience, diversity and understanding.
The work of chaplaincy will only continue with the support of the community and generous Tasmanians. Your gift will help support my work and school chaplaincy into the future!
