JOSEPH - CARING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
My name is Joseph, and I have been school chaplain at Ulverstone High School since 2007. I love working with young people and empowering them to live their best life.
In my role, I am involved in building relationships with students through breakfast programs, small group programs, lunchtime programs, personal student support and being a spiritual presence in the school. I connect with students and provide a safe place for them to express their social, emotional issues and concerns.
Chaplaincy at UHS is effective at identifying students that need early intervention and referring them to other services for ongoing support. The vision of SU Tas is to bring hop for the future to young people. Chaplaincy brings a hope and caring presence to young people in a way that equips them for the future
The work of chaplaincy will only continue with the support of the community and generous Tasmanians. Your gift will help support my work and school chaplaincy into the future!
