My name is Taylor and I am the chaplain at Penguin District School. I am thankful to have a practical role which benefits the school community and helps impact young lives with God’s love.
In my role as school chaplain, I work with students in small groups or one-to-one, being available in times of need and building relationships in the school. I meet with students and offer them a listening ear as they navigate issues that face them at this stage of life. This helps them build skills in resilience and assists with early intervention before challenges may arrive.
The aim of SU Tas is to bring hope for the future and together with generous supporters I am able to show hope at Penguin District School by providing a loving, stable and positive environment at the school. My work is so important as I am able to help young people recognise their worth and encourage them to make positive choices for their lives.
The work of chaplaincy will only continue with the support of the community and generous Tasmanians. Your gift will help support my work and school chaplaincy into the future!
