My name is Chris and I am the school chaplain at Ravenswood Heights Primary School. I have been active with SU chaplaincy since 1998. My background is as a youth worker and teacher, and I bring with me a passion for playing live music and motorcycling.
My daily activities as chaplain include helping students in class, rebuilding bicycles for kids, as well as supporting staff. My role in the school is very flexible and this enables me to come alongside students who are struggling with life to assist them with their school work and also help them understand their value.
The aim of SU Tas is to help young people and their families have hope for the future. Being able to assist the younger generation in discovering their worth and assisting in their school work is hope in practice. I am thankful to be able to bring this hope to the school environment.
The work of chaplaincy will only continue with the support of the community and generous Tasmanians. Your gift will help support my work and school chaplaincy into the future!
