My name is Keiron, and I’m the school chaplain at Montello and Table Cape Primary Schools. I have been a teacher for nearly 30 years, including some time in pastoral ministry. I first worked with SU in the Mayfield Urban Mission and have also previously run some SU Cycling Camps.
In my role as school chaplain, I spend most of my time in classrooms working alongside students and building relationships. I have opportunity to cater for special needs and small groups as well. My role is people-centred, and the most important part is being there for students and staff when needed.
The role of SU Tas is to bring hope for the future to young people and families. Thanks to those who support me, I am able to play an essential and valuable part in bringing hope to the school communities at Montello and Table Cape Primary.
The work of chaplaincy will only continue with the support of the community and generous Tasmanians. Your gift will help support my work and school chaplaincy into the future!
